Former partners, friends of friends, we can never really be sure who is using our accounts. Fortunately, all these services give us the possibility to check from where they are being accessed.

Next, we are going to review what are the steps to follow in almost all streaming platforms. You’ll notice that the steps are similar so if the one you’re interested in doesn’t show up, they shouldn’t differ too much.

Bonus track: Spotify

You’ve probably signed in to Spotify on more computers and apps than you think. Check it!

  1. Log in with your Spotify account and move the cursor to your account name and tap on the Account option
  2. On the next screen, you’ll see the account overview and the Sign Out Everywhere button

Automatically, the Spotify sessions that you had open will be closed and you should reopen them on your own. As long as you don’t remember it, you can recover or reset Spotify password in a few minutes.

Keep in mind that this procedure closes your Spotify account on mobiles and computers but not on other devices such as consoles and smart TVs, so you have to perform another simple little trick.

In the menu on the left go to Applications, and You will see all the apps that are installed and on which computers. Eventually, you can remove access to each of these apps so no one else can access them. Although the latter is only possible from the web browser, not from the Spotify mobile application.
