To be able to make Reels on Instagram, we generally have to upload videos or record them from the app. However, many do not know that it is possible add photos to the reels from Instagram, we can add one or more to make a slideshow. It is something quite simple to achieve and we will show you a little further down all the steps you must follow to achieve it.
Instagram Reels are very important to gain followers and share different kinds of content; something similar to the featured stories that are kept on our profile. It is a powerful tool for companies and influencers; even for a common user who wants to share good times with his friends.
Add or add photos to Instagram Reels from Android
The first thing we will do is start the Instagram application, once it is open, we go to the upper left corner of the screen and click on “Your story”.
Click on the “Reels” tab in the bottom menu.
We navigate to the photo icon in the lower left corner.
We will select the photograph that we want to add and choose how long it will last.
Next, click on “Add” in the upper right corner.
To add more photos, we will have to repeat the previous steps. We will continue with the “Preview” tab in the lower right corner to make sure everything is organized correctly.
We proceed to edit the images, for this we will use the options that are in the upper right. To finish, we simply click on the “Reels” button in the bottom center.
From iPhone
We start by opening the Instagram application and clicking on the “+” icon that is right next to the private messages icon.
In this little drop-down menu, we are going to choose “Reel”.
Next, we go to the thumbnail that is in the lower left corner of the screen.
We select the photo we want to add.
Now we will have to move the slider at the bottom to choose how long it will last. It can last from one to five seconds.
When we finish configuring it, we simply click on “Add” in the upper right corner.
We return to the gallery and choose another photograph. We will have to follow the same steps for all the photos that we want to add.
We select “Preview” in the lower right corner to verify that everything is correct.
When we’re done, we simply click on the “Reels” button at the bottom of the screen.
If we want to add several photos we will have to do it one at a time, at present, there is no option to add multiple photos at once.
