The first thing we should do is open a PDF file in Edge and look for the new “Add Text” button found in the toolbar at the top. Additionally we can right click on any part of the PDF and choose the option “Add text”.

We must bear in mind that the right-click option is available in Microsoft Edge version 93.0.961.47.

After choosing “Add text”, we will have to click on the area of the PDF file where we want to add said text. We can see a text box along with several options to be able to format it, this box is “floating” so it is not affecting the PDF in question.

In this, we will find options such as: modify text color, adjust its size and spacing options. At the moment, the color options are a bit limited and we will only be able to choose between red, dark green, blue and black.

On the right side of the option to choose the text color, we will have the possibility of using the buttons to change its size. With these options, we can modify the text so that it adapts perfectly to the PDF.
