Something that is very common these days is having several Gmail accounts and, therefore, we will have to learn how to change default google account quite a few times on our web browser and even Android phones. This is something that can be achieved in a very simple way.
Change Google account on a computer
The first thing we will have to do is open the favorite browser. If we have already opened an application from the Google platform, we will have to go to this one. For example, YouTube, Gmail, Google Meet, Docs, etc.
Once we are inside the application, we are going to click on our profile image that is in the upper right corner of the screen. We will see a drop-down menu that will allow us to see all the Google accounts with which we have logged in in this browser. We proceed to click on the one we want to change.
And that would be all, it does not have much more science behind it. But if what we want is to change which of our Google accounts is the default for each time we open a Google app in a new tab, then we will do this:
We open one of the Google platforms in the browser. We will click on our profile photo that is in the upper right corner of the screen.
A drop-down menu appears where we can see all the accounts with which we have logged in. Next, we will have to click on Log out of all accounts.
Now we will have to log in again with the account that we want to become the default.
From this moment on, any Google application that we use will use the account with which we log in by default. Although we can also log in easily with the method that we explained at the beginning of the article.
How to achieve it on Android devices
On Android mobile devices it is much easier to change the default Google account. We are going to have to open Settings and click on our user profile photo that we can see in the upper right corner.
Next, we will click on the arrow that points to the right side, right next to the Google account information.
Simply, we are going to have to select another account that we have already added or log in with a new one.
