If you are to use enough Discord, it is very likely that you want change the image from profile every so often. Next, we are going to tell you how you should do to achieve it.
Change Discord Profile Photo from Desktop
Regardless of whether you are using the web browser or the Discord application, we can change the profile photo by following the same steps. The interface is the same.
For this we will have to open the Discord desktop application or visit the web from your browser. Once we log in, let’s go to the lower left corner of the screen and click on the settings icon.
Next, we are going to have to select “User Profile” in the left sidebar. From here, we will have to click on the button that says “Change avatar” to be able to change the Discord profile image.
A new Windows file explorer window opens and we will have to find the image to load. Once the image is changed we will have to arrange it to fit the format it uses Discord for profile pictures. When we finish arranging the image we will click on “Apply”.
Seconds later, the image will appear in the “Preview” section of the “User Profile” menu. In case it does not convince us how the image was, we can click on “Delete avatar” and repeat the process.
If we want to save this profile image, we will have to click on the button that says “Save changes” at the bottom of the page.
Change profile photo from a mobile device
The process is exactly the same for Android, iPhone or iPad. We are going to see step by step everything we must do to change profile picture.
The first thing we should do is open the Discord application from our device and click on the icon with the three horizontal lines that is in the upper left part of the screen.
In the side menu, we will have to click on the icon of our profile, it is located in the lower right corner of the screen.
Once we are in the user configuration menu, we will have to click on the “My account” option.
Now we are going to have to click on the profile photo that we currently have in the upper left part of the screen.
We will have to use the photos application of our device to be able to upload an image. Once we do it, we will have to cut it or change its size, we simply click on “Cut” to be able to do this. In case it looks good, all we have to do is click “Upload” to save and upload the image as shown in the preview.
In case you want to edit the photo, you will simply have to press “Edit photo”. We can crop it, arrange it, reposition your image on the grid, etc.
Once we finish, we just have to click on the “Save” button that is in the upper right corner.
If we are satisfied with the result, we simply have to click on “Save”, which would be the icon in the form of a floppy disk that is in the lower right part of the screen.
