Although the answer may not be exactly what you expected, there are some useful tricks you can try if you are wondering how to see who has viewed your TikTok videos.
Can you see who viewed your TikTok videos?
The short answer is no. There is no way to directly see which people have viewed your individual videos on TikTok.
However, there are ways to tell who viewed a specific video, as well as ways to make a guess.
How to check if there are likes or comments on a TikTok video
The most obvious way to tell if someone has watched your TikTok video is if they have commented or liked it. If they have, then you know for sure that they have seen it, or at least part of it!
To see who has liked or commented on your TikTok video:
- Opens TikTok.
- Press the icon Profile.
- select Videos either private videos.
- Select the video you want to see information about.
- Press the icon Comments.
- In Comments, You’ll see a list of all your comments and the people who have left them.
- In I likeyou’ll see a list of everyone who liked your video.
How to see who has viewed your TikTok profile
Not everyone who has seen your video has liked it or left a comment. However, there is another way that you can make an educated guess as to who has viewed your TikTok video, and that is by seeing who has viewed your TikTok profile. Someone who viewed your profile may not have viewed any of your videos. If he has bothered to view your profile, there is a good chance that he has seen at least one or two of your videos.
To see who has viewed your profile, you will first need to turn on TikTok’s profile view history feature.
How to Activate TikTok Profile View History
You need to activate this feature in order to see which people have viewed your TikTok profile. Turning on your profile view history also means that people will be able to see if you’ve viewed their profile. Anyone who does not have this feature turned on will not appear in your profile view history.
To turn on TikTok history:
- Open TikTok.
- Press the icon Profile at the bottom of the screen.
- At the top of the screen, tap the icon Profile Views that looks like a pair of footprints.
- select Activate to activate profile view history.
- The profile visit history will be active from now on. You will be able to see anyone who has viewed your profile in the last 30 days (as long as they have turned on visit history themselves).
- Other people will also be able to see if you’ve viewed their profile in the last 30 days in their own profile view history.
How to turn off TikTok profile view history
If you decide you no longer want to see your profile view history, or have other people see that you’ve viewed their profile, you can turn the feature back off.
To turn off TikTok profile view history:
- Open TikTok.
- Press the icon Profile.
- At the top of the screen, tap the icon Profile Views.
- Press the icon Setting.
- change Profile viewing history to Disabled.
How to see the visits to your TikTok profile
Once profile view history is turned on, you’ll be able to see anyone who has viewed your profile in the last 30 days, as long as they also have profile view history turned on.
To see your TikTok profile check the history:
- Open TikTok.
- Press the icon Profile.
- Press the icon Profile Views.
- You will be able to see a list of people who have viewed your profile.
Control your TikTok account
Although there is no direct method to see who has viewed your TikTok videos, you can see who has liked or commented on your videos. If you turn on TikTok’s profile view history, you’ll also be able to see who’s viewed your profile in the last 30 days. This will give you a clue as to who has viewed your videos.
