If you need to check, update, or delete credit card numbers saved by Google Chrome’s auto-fill feature, it’s easy to do so by configuring your browser’s payment method. Here’s how to do it.

First of all, open Google Chrome on your Mac, PC or Linux computer. In any Chrome window, click the three vertical points in the upper right corner. In the menu that appears, click on “Setting“.

The tab “Setting“. Click on “Autocomplete”In the sidebar, and then select“Payment methods“.

In the payment method settings, look for a subsection also called “Payment methodsNear the bottom of the window. If Chrome has previously saved any credit cards, it will appear here. To see more information about any card, click on the “three pointsNext to it.

In the small menu that appears, select “Edit“.

In the window “Edit card”That appears, you can see the full credit card number, its expiration date, the name of the card and its nickname.

While in the card editing screen, you can make changes to the card’s stored information if necessary, or copy and paste the information to another destination. When you have finished making changes, click on “Keep“.

Back on the payment methods screen, if you want to add a new credit card that Chrome will use in the autofill, click on the button “Add“. Or if you want to delete a credit card saved in Google Chrome, click on the button with the three dots that appears next to the card in the list and select “Remove“.

Then close the tab Setting and that’s it. Every time you need to check your stored cards again, you just have to visit again Setting from Google Chrome> Autocomplete> Payment methods.

Managing Google Pay cards in Chrome

If you are logged into a Google account in Chrome and have a credit card linked to Google Pay, you will see it in the list if you open Setting and you access Autocomplete > Payment methods (as in the previous section).

To view the details of a card linked to Google Pay, click the icon next to it (which looks like a square with an arrow inside) and the Google Pay website will open.

You will not be able to see the entire credit card number as you can with a card that has been stored by Autofill locally (see previous section). But you can see the last four digits and the expiration date.

You can also add or remove a card stored on the Google Pay website by clicking on “Remove“Or”Add payment method“. Good luck and happy shopping!
