System requirements
A newspaper theme requires additional server side requirements to work properly. You can go to Newspaper> System Status and check if all requirements are compatible.
- Make sure that the maximum number of input variables is limited to 2000 to keep the theme panel settings.
- Increase the PHP memory limit to 128MB per request.
- Set PHP maximum execution time to 60 to install demo content.

After installing the required plugins, go to the “Install Demo” tab and select the demo you like. The Newspaper theme offers over 50 pre-installed demos and you can preview them before installing. However, be careful when installing demo content. You must not modify the demo content or use it on your site. Otherwise, when you change or delete the demo, all demo content will be deleted as well. Hover over the demo style and uncheck Include Content to import only styles without content.

Cloud library
The newsletter theme offers a cloud-based library to import predefined messages, headers, footers, and other templates. Go to the Cloud Template menu and click the Add button to get a new template.
You can browse hundreds of predefined templates and import the ones you need for your site.
You can edit the imported template and customize it as you like. You can add new elements and remove or reorder template elements to create a custom template. You can set a custom template as the default message template in the “Themes pane”.
While cloud templates are great, they have some drawbacks. For example, the developer mentions infinite scrolling as a theme feature on the product page in themeforest. However, you need to create a template and add infinite scrolling functionality. This means it cannot be applied to all messages at the topic level. If you use the infinite scrolling template as the default template, other features such as smart list will not work.

Themes panel
Here you can customize the individual elements of your site. It has comprehensive options for header and footer, ads, templates, blocks, mobile, analytics, and more. You can use default templates or assign a cloud template for header, footer, categories, and posts.
In addition to the template settings, you have the following function in the theme panel.
- Set up ads like Google Adsense.
- Insert your own codes like Google Analytics.
- Customize translations, fonts and colors.
- Customize blocks and backgrounds.
